Scotty's Castle

The one man-made attraction in DV is Scotty's Castle. This is a vacation home built by an insurance millionaire named Albert Johnson, but the real story revolves around Walter Scott, the con-man better known as Death Valley Scotty.

Scotty tried to con Johnson, but later they became friends and Scotty lived in his house and entertained guests with made-up stories.
