Lost Panoramas

Lost Panoramas

In the mid-2000s I had a disk crash, and several of the full-resolution panoramas I had built were not backed up -- at the time, they were immense compared to other files.

All is not lost though, in that the source files are almost all available and the panorama can be rebuilt (with new software) if needed. As such, for these panoramas, all you see is the "web" version which is enough to fill the width of your screen but does not feature high resolution zooming in.

In spite of this, many of the sizes are recorded to show you how large the image was. If you come upon an image you really want to see in full detail, or in particular you wish to buy a print of, it's not that much work to rebuild it. It's just a lot of work to rebuild them all.
