Dunes and South Coast

These shots come from my Point and Shoot, which took over when my SLR broke down, as well as shots from our hikes up capes and on the Oregon Dunes.

We arrived at the Dunes near sunset, and hiked up one of the northern, grassy ones, then decided to camp at the south end at the Eel Creek camp. This camp was right at the edge of the dunes.

From there we continued south all the way to California.

It was a foggy day, with rain, so we didn't go Dune Buggy riding but we did hike to the top of a high dune, which is pretty tough slogging.		(1280 x 854 - 106K) K. before the high dune.

(1280 x 854 - 162K) Natural Bridges cove in Boardman State Scenic Corridor. We traversed this stretch late in the day, as the fog was rolling in. It's one of the most spectacular parts of the coast, but the weather left us without great photos.
