No trip is complete without this. I recommend going on your own so you
can set your own schedule. We had a good time here, but then were
dragged to a stupid 2 hour "shopping opportunity" that nobody wanted at
a "Friendship Store" that charged literally 5 to 10 times the price in
downtown Beijing.
All you can say after climbing this thing is that they really, really hated
the Mongols, since it was hard enough to climb, let alone imagine building,
carrying up each brick.
