Mykanos is very charming, with all whitewashed houses, windmills,
pedestrian-only alley streets, public transport and tacky tourist
shopping. It's also supposedly the gay capital of Greece. It
didn't take long to tour the town, so we caught a bus to a beach and
spent the afternoon relaxing and swimming in the Aegean.

A lovely beach where we spent the afternoon and swam in the Aegean. In spite of warnings, the beach was entirely tame.
