Shanghai

Shanghai has perhaps the most interesting modern architecture in the world. A giant, bustling city, it seems as though square box buildings are forbidden. Each building is interesting.

Sadly, the Chinese style of selling real estate means all condos are sold bare to the walls, and the new owner puts in everything -- interior walls, plumbing etc. And usually an ugly dripping air conditioner strapped to the lovely new exterior of their tower.
