The Man

The man is always a striking figure, and he loves to pose for us photographers. Here are many shots of him, including the nice juxtaposition with the full moon.

Interestingly, while I was taking some of these, I talked with another photographer, Neil K. who took a shot of me planning my shots. His page has good pictures. He loaned me a lens but I had to be too quick to use it to get good shots.

Always dust storms. The man would vanish, then reappear as he is doing here. Crew are adjusting him for the burn, while a documentary crew tests out their crane platform for shooting the burn.

The remains of the man. Most have been removed, but some people are collecting the small metal parts and making found art out of them.
